The Prophet is the continution in the line of Prophets that include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joshua, Moses and Jesus.
Quran 5:19: The Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) is a continuation in the line of Messengers that have come before.

People of the Book (Jews and Christians), Our Messenger comes to you now, after a break in the sequence of messengers, to make things clear for you in case you should say, ‘No one has come to give us good news or to warn us.’ So someone has come to you, to give you good news and warn you: God has the power to do all things.

يَٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَبِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ عَلَىٰ فَتْرَةٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلرُّسُلِ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ مَا جَآءَنَا مِنۢ بَشِيرٍۢ وَلَا نَذِيرٍۢ ۖ فَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بَشِيرٌۭ وَنَذِيرٌۭ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ

Note: The line of messengers relates to the Abrahamic Prophets including: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joshua, Moses, Jesus etc. (Peace and Blessings be upon them all)

 
Quran 33:40: The Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) is the last Prophet, the Seal of Prophethood.

Muhammad is not the father of any one of you men; he is God’s Messenger and the seal of the prophets: God knows everything.

مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَآ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَكِن رَّسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًۭا
Reference  : Quran: Al-Ahzab 33:40

Note: This is one of only five verses that mention the Prophet by name. Here seal of the Prophets means the last of the Prophets.

 
The Prophet is just a human being, delivering a clear message, under the instruction of God.

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I am only a man like you, ˹but˺ it has been revealed to me that your God is only One God. So whoever hopes for the meeting with their Lord, let them do good deeds and associate none in the worship of their Lord.”

‏قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌۭ وَحِدٌۭ ۖ فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ لِقَآءَ رَبِّهِۦ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًۭا صَلِحًۭا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَحَدًۢا

Quran 6:50: The Prophet does not have God's treasuries, or knowledge of the unseen, nor is an angel.

‏قُل لَّآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ عِندِى خَزَآىِٕنُ ٱللَّهِ وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ ٱلْغَيْبَ وَلَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِنِّى مَلَكٌ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ ۚ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْبَصِيرُ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَفَكَّرُونَ

A Mercy to Mankind
Quran 21:107: The Prophet (ﷺ) is a mercy to all of mankind

We have sent you ˹O Prophet˺ only as a mercy for the whole world.

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ لِّلْعَلَمِينَ

Quran 9:128: The Prophet (ﷺ) is gracious and merciful to the believers.

A Messenger has come to you from among yourselves. Your suffering distresses him: he is deeply concerned for you and full of kindness and mercy towards the believers.

‏لَقَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُم بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

He is the best of examples
Quran 33:21: In the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example.

Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often.

‏لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِى رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌۭ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلْءَاخِرَ وَذَكَرَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًۭا

Quran 68:4: He has the best of moral character.

And you are truly ˹a man˺ of outstanding character.

‏وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍۢ

Quran 2:151: Teaching mankind that which they never knew.

Since We have sent you a messenger from among yourselves — reciting to you Our revelations, purifying you, teaching you the Book and wisdom, and teaching you what you never knew

كَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ ٱلْكِتَبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْلَمُونَ

He does not speak from his own inclinations.
Quran 53:1-5: The Prophet (ﷺ) does not speak of his own desires, whims or inclinations. It is but a revelation, sent down to him.

By the stars when they fade away!

 

Your fellow man (Muhammed) is neither misguided nor astray

 

Nor does he speak of his own whims.

 

It is only a revelation sent down ˹to him˺.

 

He has been taught by one ˹angel˺ (Gabriel) of mighty power

وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ

مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰ

وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰٓ

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْىٌۭ يُوحَىٰ

عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلْقُوَىٰ

Quran 69:44-47: Had the Prophet made something up, Allah would have seized him and severed his aorta.

Had the Messenger made up something in Our Name,

 

We would have certainly seized him by his right hand,

 

then severed his aorta,

 

and none of you could have shielded him ˹from Us˺!

وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ

‏لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِٱلْيَمِينِ

ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ ٱلْوَتِينَ

فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَجِزِينَ

His duty is only to deliver the Message
Quran 29:18: The Prophet (ﷺ) only duty is to delivery the message clearly.

If you ˹Meccans˺ persist in denial, so did ˹many˺ communities before you. The Messenger’s duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺ clearly.”

‏وَإِن تُكَذِّبُوا۟ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌۭ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

You ˹O Prophet˺ have no say in the matter. It is up to Allah to turn to them in mercy or punish them, for indeed they are wrongdoers.

‏لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَلِمُونَ
Reference  : Quran: Ali 'Imran 3:128
 
The Prophet is a warner and a guide, to remind people of what has already been revealed to them.
Quran 33:45-47: The Prophet (ﷺ) is a witness, a warner, but bears the good news of God's great bounty for the believers.

O Prophet! We have sent you as a witness, and a deliverer of good news, and a warner,

 

and a caller to ˹the Way of˺ Allah by His command, and a beacon of light.

 

Give good news to the believers that they will have a great bounty from Allah.

يَٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَكَ شَهِدًۭا وَمُبَشِّرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا

وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَسِرَاجًۭا مُّنِيرًۭا

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَضْلًۭا كَبِيرًۭا

And so We have sent to you ˹O Prophet˺ a revelation by Our command. You did not know of ˹this˺ Book and faith ˹before˺. But We have made it a light, by which We guide whoever We will of Our servants. And you are truly leading ˹all˺ to the Straight Path

وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ رُوحًۭا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا ۚ مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِى مَا ٱلْكِتَبُ وَلَا ٱلْإِيمَنُ وَلَكِن جَعَلْنَهُ نُورًۭا نَّهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن نَّشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

Quran 16:44: The Prophet explains to the people what has been revealed to them, the Reminder, so perhaps they will reflect.

˹We sent them˺ with clear proofs and divine Books. And We have sent down to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Reminder, so that you may explain to people what has been revealed for them, and perhaps they will reflect.

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O humanity! The truth has surely come to you from your Lord. So whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. And whoever chooses to stray, it is only to their own loss. And I am not a keeper over you.”
قُلْ يَٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيْكُم بِوَكِيلٍۢ

He does not ask for any reward, except the love his family.
Quran 36:21: Follow those who ask no reward for themselves of you, and have themselves received guidance.

Quran 42:23: He asks for no reward, except the love of the Ahlulbayt.

That is of which Allah gives the good news to His servants, (to) those who believe and do good deeds. Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives; and whoever earns good, We give him more of good therein; surely Allah is Forgiving, Grateful.

That is (the Bounty) whereof Allah gives Glad Tidings to His Servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin." And if any one earns any good, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service).

This is the glad tidings that Allah gives to His worshipers, who believe and do good works. Say: 'For this I ask of you no wage except the love of the (Prophet's) relatives. We will add good to whosoever gains a good deed. Allah is the Forgiving and the Thanker'

This is the glad news which God gives to His servants, the righteously striving believers. (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask you for any payment for my preaching to you except (your) love of (my near) relatives." Whoever achieves virtue will have its merit increased. God is All-forgiving and Appreciating.

Such is the good news that Allah gives to His servants who have faith and do righteous deeds! Say, ‘I do not ask you any reward for it except the love of [my] relatives.’ Whoever performs a good deed, We shall enhance its goodness for him. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-appreciative.

ذَلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يُبَشِّرُ ٱللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّلِحَتِ ۗ قُل لَّآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ فِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ ۗ وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةًۭ نَّزِدْ لَهُۥ فِيهَا حُسْنًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ شَكُورٌ ‎
